Entering academia after employment in commerce, Veronica has had a 30 year career based on forging long term industry funded research collaborations whilst working at the University of Cambridge, London Business School, Cranfield School of Management and Cass Business School, City University of London.
Veronica is particularly interested in corporate renewal and transformation. Most recently she has published and spoken extensively on renewing trust and trustworthiness within the private, public and third sector involving 25 organisations including Unilever, BAE, GKN, Ernst and Young, NHS etc. She has published 5 practitioner reports on these various areas between 2012 and 2017 (funded by the CIPD) and is currently running another collaborative project with business looking at organisational trust dynamics in 2020/21. Veronica has consulted and worked globally not only with the private sector but also with International NGOs and parts of the UN system, including the World Bank and the IMF.
Veronica sat on the Financial Conduct Authority panel for Purpose and Culture and is on the Board for Help for Heroes where she chairs the Nominations Committee. She was previously on the Board of Action Aid for 6 years and was a Council member for the Chartered Association of Business Schools.
